- TAPERED DESIGN: Caplugs NPT Series Plugs for NPT Fittings are fully threaded and feature a tapered design that ensures a tight fit, but they do not seat all the way down on the fitting as is commonly found with true NPT tapered NPT threads. This allows for easier installation and removal.
- FOUR DIFFERENT SIZES: Our NPT Series plugs are conveniently available in four sizes for 2", 2.5", 3" and 4" threaded fittings. All sizes include a 1" lug on top of the part requiring only one tool to tighten and remove. This specific model fits Thread Size 4" and a schedule size of 80
- DENSE AND TOUGH: Caplugs NPT Series Plugs for NPT Fittings are constructed from high-density polyethylene (HD-PE), a lightweight thermoplastic polymer known for its high strength, density and durability. It is exceptionally resistant to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, bases and solvents, as well as resistant to environmental stress cracking and corrosion. It has a service temperature range of 0° F (-18° C) to 215° F (102° C).
